A couple of action shots below
In this assignment we saved the monster.jpg files onto our computers and then saved the file into a progressive jpg as well as a an interlaced png. To achieve this, I opened up GIMP and used the "export" feature to save them into the desired formats and then under advanced options I check the progressive and interlaced options respectively. This is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics.
